The MDCIA was founded in 2014 by applicants for cultivation, processing and dispensary licenses. We formed the MDCIA to ensure that our concerns as well as the needs of patients were being communicated to the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission. Our organization meets once per month to exchange ideas, monitor developing legislation, discuss patient and physician education/outreach and much more.
